I figured Monday is as good a day as any to share RENTED movie reviews. If you rented a movie this weekend or recently, please share your thoughts if it is worth seeing (but don't give it away). If it was bad, please say so!! I need something new to see and since we don't do the theater thing...

I watched School of Rock. Jack really gets on my nerves so I had a hard time watching until the end. I liked the kids parts more than his. But I would give a a thumbs in between. Not too good, not too bad. I tried to watch Matchstick men but the tape was messed up. What I did see of it seemed slow and hard to stay interested.

Well, this movie comes out on DVD tomorrow I think, so I'll write about it. I saw Something's Gotta Give and I give it four thumbs up. It was really really good. Its really funny and really sweet. I would definitely recommend it.

Is it a chick flick? Or will my husband be able to sit through it too?

Got to see Gothika this weekend. Pretty good. Kinda creepy with a sick twist.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre ~ I never saw the original. It was pretty good. Was the original good? Better?

My husband and I rented the same movies Friday night. I agree they were both creepy. The ORIGINAL Texas Chainsaw Massacre is WAY better and scarier!

I know that this is kind of an old movie, but if you haven't seen it, a good one is Sweet Home Alabama. Its really cute and funny. Thats the only movie I watched this weekend.
I really want to see Gothika and Texas Chainsaw Massacre though. They look like good movies.

I watched Underworld again this weekend. God, that's a great movie! It's got everything you could want...action, sex appeal, a fledgling love story....and it's unbelievably original! Brilliant writing and top-notch direction. I think it's first Matrix good...and that's saying a lot.

I also watched Gothika this weekend and thought it was good but also kind of weird. If anyone has seen Stir of Echoes, it kind of runs along the same theme....watch it and you will know what I mean.

Stir of Echos - great movie!
I watched The Rundown this weekend. Good, enjoyable flick. The only complaint I had was that the editing was bad. It would be smooth one minute, all MTV jump cuts the next. It's obvious thes eguys cut their teeth on videos. It was a fun movier and a good story - I just wish thge editors would have gotten out of its way. The Rock was funny though and of course, so was Sean William Scott. Good action and how could you not love any movie with Christopher Walken in it?
Best for fans of the old Bruce Willis-style action movies. Plenty of explosions and a few good laughs to go along with it.

We picked up Rundown this weekend. I thought it was great! Not what I expected with the Rock in it. I would definately recommend this one!
