You know the ones I'm talking about? They have Calvin from the Calvin and Hobbes comic strip kneeling and praying next to a cross. I can see why people think they're cute, but I hate them. First off, I hate them because they're illegal. The images were never liscensed from the creator of Calvin and Hobbes. Essentially, these people are stealing to send a religious message. Oh, THAT'S good. Secondly, it's COMPLETELY out of character for Calvin. This is the kid that had the same questions about God as he did about Santa Claus. He was constantly trying to figure out life and the universe. "Faith" was never one of Calvin's strong points. He wasn't evil. The strip wasn't anti-religious. But it's just wrong to show Calvin as devout anything, except maybe a devout snowsledder. Ok. Rant off.

Yeah, they piss me off too... They're still illegal. But at least they're not fundamentally wrong.

[glow=red,2,300]I agree, Sagan. Calvin kneeling next to the cross means about as much to me, and if they had used Bart Simpson, or Beavis and Butthead, or Cartman. It's just wrong. îï [/glow]

I got to looking at one the other day, since it was brought up, and you can tell thay are porly drawn since they are not drawn by a 'licensed' artist. I've never been a big fan of them either... unless they're peeing on the Ford sign ;D
