My absolute favorite song to listen to at Christmas is [shadow=purple,left,300]O Holy Night[/shadow]
That song just gives me goose bumps, everytime I hear it.
O Holy Night
O Holy night, the stars are brightly shining It is the night of the dear Saviour's birth Long lay the world in sin and error pining Till He appeared and the soul felt His worth
A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices For yonder beams a new and glorious morn Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices! O night divine! O night when Christ was born! O night divine! O night, O night divine!
Led by the light of faith serenely beaming With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming Here came the wise men from the Orient land
The King of Kings lay in lowly manger In all our trials born to be our friend He knows our need To our weakness no stranger Behold your King! before the lowly bend! Behold your King! before Him bend!
Truly he taught us to love one another His law is love and His gospel is peace Chains shall He break, for the slave is our brother And in His name all oppression shall cease
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus rise we Let all within us praise His holy name Christ is the Lord Then ever, ever praise we His pow'r and glory ever more proclaim His pow'r and glory ever more proclaim

During Lent/Easter we usually sing an old, old folk tune that also gives me goose bumps. The words are beautiful, but the melody is just so haunting, that it makes me want to cry. It's supposed to be an old "negro" folk song. I'm not exact on it's origins. I just know it's a very moving, and beautiful hymn.
Were You There?
1. Were you there when they crucified my Lord? Were you there when they crucified my Lord? Oh sometimes it causes me to tremble, tremble, tremble. Were you there when they crucified my Lord? 2. Were you there when they nailed him to the tree? Were you there when they nailed him to the tree? Oh sometimes it causes me to tremble, tremble, tremble. Were you there when they nailed him to the tree?
3. Were you there when they laid him in the tomb? Were you there when they laid him in the tomb? Oh sometimes it causes me to tremble, tremble, tremble. Were you there when they laid him in the tomb?
4. Were you there when God raised him from the tomb? Were you there when God raised him from the tomb? Oh sometimes it causes me to tremble, tremble, tremble. Were you there when God raised him from the tomb?

Put on your yarmulke, here comes Chanukah Its so much fun-akkah to celebrate Chanukah,
Chanukah is the Festival of Lights, Instead of one day of presents, we have eight crazy nights.
When you feel like the only kid in town without a Christmas tree, Heres a list of people who are Jewish, just like you and me:
David Lee Roth lights the menorrah, So do James Caan, Kirk Douglas, and the late Dinah Shore-ah
Guess who eats together at the Karnickey Deli, Bowzer from Sha-na-na, and Arthur Fonzerrelli.
Paul Newman's half Jewish; Goldie Hawn's half too, Put them together, what a fine lookin Jew!
You dont need Deck the Halls or Jingle Bell Rock Cause you can spin a dreidle with Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock, both Jewish!
Put on your yarmulke, its time for Chanukah, The owner of the Seattle Supersonic-ahs celebrates Chanukah.
O.J. Simpson, not a Jew! But guess who is...Hall of Famer, Rod Carew, (he converted!)
We got Ann Landers and her sister Dear Abby, Harrison Ford' a quarter Jewish, not too shabby!
Some people think that Ebeneezer Scrooge is, Well, hes not, but guess who is: All three stooges.
So many Jews are in show biz, Tom Cruise isn't, but I heard his agent is.
Tell your friend Veronica, its time you celebrate Chanukah I hope I get a harmonica, on this lovely, lovely Chanukah.
So drink your gin-and-tonic-ah, and smoke your marijuan-ikah, If you really, really wanna-kah, Have a happy, happy, happy, happy Chanukah
