I'm sorry, but today's race SUCKED! How could they let the race "end" with 5 laps to go? WTF was up with that? The guy who was in the lead when the caution light went on is declared the winner? What kind of a race is that? I guess it's just as well, considering my man was in 3rd, until he blew his engine, and ended the race in 42nd. And, did Stewart mistake this for a demolition derby race or what??? I hope Jr. appeals the decision. I CANNOT STAND GORDON!!!!! /rant ;D

Yeah, I don't really understand why they stop red flags after 10. I would think it should be the other way around. Or, if not a red flag, then don't count the yellow laps after 10 to go.

After spending nearly 4 hours watching that race, just to feel this huge let down at the end. It was bad enough that Matt was knocked out of the running (when that happens, I always root for Jr) but then to have such a let down at the finish. :sigh:

That was just WRONG! There is no way Gordon would have won if NASCAR didnt pull that crap. They should at least give them one lap to see who will win. The only reason #24 was ahead is bc it was on a turn, he had just caught up with Jr.. Too bad it wasn't at least Harvick who was ahead! Did yall see the beer cans everone was throwing at Gordon? Hahahaha

Unfortunately Jr. would've needed 3 or 4 laps. He had a very strong car... one it got going. He kept getting killed on the restarts.

Tony Eury was going to the Nascar trailer after the race to see what the Nascar guys were looking at. Going to watch Speed Channel's Inside Nextel Cup to see what they say.
From Nextel.com:
At Talladega, if there were at least 5 laps left they could have red flagged it. Since there were only 4, they couldn't.
